As you can see, this card commemorates Hull's 1965-66 season when Hull scored 54 goals and become the first NHL'er with more than 50 in a season. Hull had scored exactly 50 the season before, tying the previous single-season record alongside Montreal legends Rocket Richard (50 goals in 1944-45) and Boom Boom Geoffrion (50 in 1960-61). Hull would reach the 50-goal mark three more times in his career (52 in 1966-67, 58 in 1967-68 and 50 in 1971-72). He now ranks 16th on the all-time list with 610 -- a number that is undersells him because it doesn't count the 303 he scored in the WHA. So, yeah, he's a pretty a Big Deal.

Signature Renditions: Bobby Hull
The latest addition to my Signature Renditions collection is a big one:
There aren't too many bigger stars in NHL history than the Golden Jet -- and certainly none in my autograph collection. Bobby Hull is one of, and maybe the, best snipers in NHL history, although I suppose his son could give him a good argument about that. It's not the world's most aesthetically pleasing autograph, but at least it's legible (mostly).
